New thru-educate path for poly students to get university diploma and locate work in shorter time

SINGAPORE—A new “via-train” program starting next year will permit polytechnic college students to not only get a place in a nearby college but also be confident of a job.

Students on this route can graduate from university as early as a year earlier than their peers. For a start, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) has tied up with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) to provide this new pathway in April subsequent year for forty college students within the constructing services and mechatronics sectors.
